For attorneys & legal teams
Evidence-grade exports your practice can stand behind
- SHA-256 message-stream hash with printed verification instructions — prove the export is unaltered.
- Chain-of-custody cover page: exporter, timestamps, range, tool version, parser version.
- Bates numbering with your firm's prefix conventions.
- Redaction that actually redacts — terms are blacked out before rendering and before hashing.
- Per-participant filtering and search-term highlighting for discovery.
- RFC 3161 certified time: each export can produce a timestamp request for your TSA.
- HIPAA-friendly architecture: no PHI is ever transmitted, so no Business Associate Agreement is needed.
Firm licensing, built for how firms work
Every attorney activates a personal seat under the firm key. Cover pages stamp both the firm and the individual attorney — no one files evidence under a colleague's name. Shared firm config keeps Bates prefixes and export defaults consistent across every seat. Invoice/PO checkout for procurement.
Chain of custody, in practice
What a Legal-tier export contains
Cover page
Exporter identity (from the signed license — on Firm, both the firm and the individual attorney’s seat), export timestamps, message range, chat title, tool and parser versions.
Integrity hash
A SHA-256 digest of the canonical message stream, printed with re-derivation instructions so any party can independently confirm the export is unaltered.
Verification page
Step-by-step instructions bound into the PDF itself — plus an optional RFC 3161 timestamp request file that binds the hash to TSA-attested time.
Bates & redaction
Bates numbering with your firm’s prefix, and blackout redaction applied before rendering and before hashing — redacted terms are not recoverable.
